Hi everyone, I’m Andrew. I am currently a third year undergraduate student here at UW-Madison, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering (EV option), as well as a certificate in Environmental Studies. I have recently been taken on as a member of Prof. Wei’s research group, an opportunity for which I am both very grateful and excited. As a research assistant, I’ll be aiding in and performing research related to micropollutant detection using plasmon-enabled spectroscopic techniques. Outside of school, a couple of my interests include music and spending time outside. This latter interest is convenient as I’ve lived in Madison my whole life, an area rife with many natural spaces to enjoy. I’m very excited to be a part of water research this summer, and am looking forward to meeting you all.
